I plan on making a lot of passion fruit recipes as I have a lot of these beautiful fruit growing in our garden. This Passion Fruit Lemonade is made with all the fresh flavours as I have used fresh mint and lemon also grown organically in our garden. It’s just so easy to experiment with different fruit flavours. I prefer to use fresh fruit juices in my drinks.
If you want to know if your passion fruit is ripe, look for some wrinkles in your passion fruit. They should be wrinkly, but still, have some weight to them. If they are feeling light or hollow, cut it open and see, because it might be past its prime, but you won’t know for sure until you cut. Once it is open, you should be able to tell pretty quickly if it’s not good because there really won’t be much in the way of pulp.
