Paneer Bhurji (Scrambled Cottage Cheese) is a perfect dish to make for a lazy lunch or dinner. This can be prepared within 15 minutes if you have paneer in your refrigerator.
This is a favourite comfort food loved by most of the North Indians. There is no time fixed for having this dish. You can have it for breakfast along with parathas and tea. You can even have it for evening snack by stuffing it between bread slices and making a toasted sandwich. I just find ways of eating Paneer Bhurji all the time.
Paneer Bhurji is scrambled paneer or cottage cheese, stir-fried with tomatoes, onions, green chillies, and basic spices. I always make sure to add freshly chopped coriander to this dish. It is a great way to add protein to your diet (especially if you are a vegetarian).
I have used homemade Paneer to make this Bhurji. Making paneer at home is quite easy but if you can’t make it at home you can use store-bought Paneer. I am sharing the link for homemade paneer.
