Stuffed Bread Pakoda

Stuffed Bread Pakoda is a delicious, crispy and spicy snack. This is a popular street food of North India and particularly of Delhi and Punjab. Bread Pakoda’s are all-time favourite and can be enjoyed any time of the day.

This Bread Pakora is stuffed with boiled potatoes and is also known as bread bajji. I have added some vegetables to the stuffing to add more nutrition and fiber. Paneer can also be added to this stuffing. If you want to keep it simple then skip the vegetables and paneer. This sandwich is then dipped in besan batter (gramflour batter) and deep fried.

My memory goes long way back whenever I eat these yummy bread pakodas. My craze for bread pakoda grew more when I was studding in Delhi. Our college canteen served the best pakoda or maybe I liked it more as there were not many options also. I was staying in a hostel and this came as a reliever for my hunger often. Whenever I missed my breakfast or even for lunch as many a times I avoided going to the hostel. Whatever may be the reason I still love eating Bread Pakora.
