Caramel Mango Bread Pudding is a super tasty dessert. I love mangoes and can’t have enough of them. As this is summer and plenty of mangoes are available in the market, I made this recipe of my favourite fruit.
This Caramel Mango Bread Pudding can be made easily and quickly with few simple ingredients. I always have bread in my pantry at any given time and sugar and milk we always have. This recipe has no eggs and is made without using an Owen.
I have steamed this in a deep pot for just 20 to 25 minutes. It is important to refrigerate the pudding for at least 4 hours before serving. Demold the pudding on a serving plate, top with few pieces of mangoes and enjoy this sweet, creamy and luscious pudding.

Followed the recipe to the T….. But hasn’t come out well….very dense texture…..not new to cooking … Have been cooking for almost 30 years now!!
Dear Alka, For me caramel mango bread pudding comes out great. If it is dense I can suggest you to reduse the quantity of custard powder. Also try another brand of bread. I hope you used regular white bread. Even the steaming time can be reduced. Check by inserting a tooth pick after steaming for 15 minutes.
How do u get that soft texture of bread pudding
The bread, soaks the milk custard and it becomes soft.
