Cajun Spiced Vegetable Pizza is loaded with spicy Cajun spiced vegetables and fresh homemade pizza dough. This pizza is bursting with flavors of paprika, chilli, garlic, coriander, parsley, lime and herbs. I have also used homemade Marinara Sauce.
With lots of vegetables, herbs and cheese, this pizza is our family’s favourite. You can use the choice of vegetables you relish. Since this pizza is made with homemade base, feel free to make the pizza as thin or thick you like.

Ingredients for Cajun Spiced Vegetable Pizza
1 recipe pizza dough recipe here
1 recipe marinara sauce recipe here
600 grams mozzarella cheese grated
For the Cajun vegetable topping
½ cup onion sliced
½ cup capsicum sliced
½ cup baby corn sliced
1 cup mushrooms sliced
1 tablespoon garlic chopped fine
1 tablespoon Cajun spice
1 tablespoon butter
Salt to taste
Directions For Cajun Spiced Vegetable Pizza
- Follow the instructions for the pizza base and prepare accordingly.
- For the Cajun vegetable topping
- Heat butter in a pan; add garlic and saute till light golden.
- Add all the vegetables and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now add salt and Cajun spice and toss.
- Switch off the heat.
- On the pizza base spread 2 to 3 tablespoon of the marinara sauce evenly.
- Sprinkle a layer of cheese; arrange a layer of the Cajun vegetables.
- Top with some more cheese.
- Bake in a hot oven at 200 degrees till the base is crisp and golden and the cheese melts.
- Serve immediately.
Note: Marinara sauce can be made in advance and refrigerated. Keep it out for some time before using. Even the pizza base can be prepared and baked lightly one day ahead.
