This is an instant method in which it is cooked, unlike the traditional method where it is kept under the Sun to pickle for at least 5 to 6 days.

Ingredients For Aam ka Murabba (Mango Jam)
2 cups grated raw mangoes
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cardamom crushed
A few strands of saffron
Directions For Aam ka Murabba (Mango Jam)
- In a pan; add mangoes, sugar and stir on low heat till all the sugar melts and it starts to boil.
- Increase the heat and cook till the sugar syrup thickens to 1 string consistency.
- Add rest of the ingredients and mix.
- Switch off the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Fill in a sterilized jar and enjoy.
